Meet Our Team

Dr. Eddie M Robinson

Education: Clemson University- BS, Tuskegee University- DVM


Dr. Robinson, a Columbia native,  earned his B.S. in Zoology from Clemson University in 1979 and his DVM from Tuskegee University in 1983. MVP was founded by Dr. Robinson in 1991.

He is a member of the American Veterinary Association, The South Carolina Association of Veterinarians, and the Greater Columbia Association of Veterinarians.  Dr. Robinson is also active in alumni affairs at Clemson and curently serves on the IPTAY Board of Directors.  My free time is split between my family, listening to Jazz and Rotary Club (Lake Murray-Irmo) activities.

Dr. Robert L Cabe

Education: University of South Carolina- BS, University of Georgia- DVM


My name is Dr. Robert Cabe. I have been associated with Midlands Veterinary Practice since its opening in 1991. I have served as a veterinary assistant/technician throughout undergraduate school at the University of South Carolina. I graduated from USC in 1994; I obtained my DVM from the University of Georgia in 1998.

My primary veterinary interests are anesthesia and pain management. My outside interests include reading and listening to music. I am a member of the American Veterinary Association, the South Carolina Association of Veterinarians, and the Greater Columbia Association of Veterinarians.

General Manager

My name is Angela. I am 44 years old and have been with MVP since February 1998. I am married and have two sons. Dylan, my oldest, was born in 2003. Dawson is my youngest son, and he was born in 2007. Even though I am a mother, my lo0ve for animals has not changed. My favorite pastimes are deer hunting, fishing, camping, and of course spending time with my animals and family. I look forward to spending many more years at MVP where I care for the most valuable pets… yours!

Hello. My name is Akeba.  I joined the MVP team in August of 2017. I have a Bachelor degree in Health Care Administration, concentration management, but my passion has always been animal health care.  As a member of the MVP team, I strive to provide you with superior client service and exceptional patient support for your pet.  When I am not either on the phone or at the front desk to assist you with your pet’s needs, I am spending time with my husband Aaron, our four children and my two fur children. I look forward to growing our relationship and caring for the needs of your precious pet.

I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2015, and I earned my veterinary assistant certificate through Midlands Tech in 2018. I’ve always had a love for animals, so working so closely with them is very rewarding. I feel very lucky to have found, and become a member of the MVP team!

Hello, my name is Holly.  I graduated from Piedmont Technical College in May 2011 with an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology.  I joined the MVP team in July 2011.  I enjoy the nursing and anesthesia aspect of veterinary medicine the most.  My fiancé and I welcomed our daughter, Emmy, in November 2018 and she has been the light of our lives ever since.  When I am not busy being a mom, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, friends, and family.  I also enjoy fostering animals in need and finding them the homes they deserve.  I have a lot of animals which include; 6 dogs, 2 cats, rabbits, ducks & chickens.  I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!

Hello, my name is Skylar! I have been a member of Midlands Veterinary Practice since August of 2019. I earned my Veterinary Assistant Certificate from Midlands Tech in February of 2019. I have always loved taking care of animals. I have a yellow lab, a Bombay cat, and a mini Rex rabbit. I look forward to helping take care of your animals.

Hello, my name is Jamie and I have been a proud part of the M.V.P family since November 2016.  I aspire to be a Veterinarian and I am so fortunate to be here learning from the Doctors and staff.  I have two dogs, Blitz (German Shepherd) and Gizmo (Chihuahua). Blitz came as stray to the practice and he has been by my side ever since.  Gizmo has an endless amount of energy and loves playing with her big brother, Blitz. The most rewarding part of my job has been meeting our wonderful clients and sweet pets!

My name is Butters Kitty. I was brought in as an injured stray. I love playing with toys, chasing lasers and looking out the window. My favorite past time is taking long cat naps and eating. I am very friendly and I have the personality that Tigg lacks. I am Dr. Cabe’s favorite.
