Dr. Marin was born and raised in Santiago, Chile where she completed her veterinary training. She then completed an 1 year Oncology program at Michigan State University, and started the process to become certified as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in the States (ECFVG certification). She completed a rotating internship in Indiana and moved to South Carolina with her dog Lukas and her many cats to work in emergency medicine until a couple of years ago, working as an independent per diem doctor before she joined Midlands Veterinary Practice in 2025. In her free time, Dr. Marin enjoys spending quiet time at home with her many cats, reading, painting, crafting, and cutting, polishing and carving gems, minerals and rocks of all kinds.
Angela has been with MVP since February 1998. She is married and has two sons. Dylan, her oldest, was born in 2003. Dawson is her youngest son, and he was born in 2007. Even though she is a mother, her love for animals has not changed. Her favorite pastimes are deer hunting, fishing, camping, and of course spending time with her animals and family. She looks forward to spending many more years at MVP.
